For students registered for the course, the computational skills boot camp will be held Friday, September 28 - Saturday, September 29. It is optional but encouraged. You can come for one or both of the days. The schedule will be something like:

Friday a.m.: introduction to Python (which is really about how to design and build programs you can trust)
Friday p.m.: numerical programming with NumPy
Saturday a.m.: statistics with Pandas
Saturday p.m.: version control (takes about 1.5 hours) and either testing or databases (depending on what we think you need most)
